Security & Trust
Building Trust Through Responsible AI
At Convzr, trust is as important as technology.
Our goal is to help ecommerce businesses deliver better shopping experiences while respecting customer privacy, protecting merchant data, and operating with transparency.
This page explains how Convzr approaches security, data handling, and responsible AI.
Our Security Principles
Everything we build is guided by four principles:
- Security by Design
- Privacy by Default
- Merchant Data Ownership
- Responsible AI
These principles influence how Convzr is developed today and how future features will be introduced.
Infrastructure
Convzr is built using modern cloud infrastructure designed for reliability and scalability.
Current infrastructure includes:
- Vercel (Application Hosting)
- Supabase (Application Database)
- OpenAI (AI Processing)
As Convzr grows, infrastructure providers may evolve while maintaining our commitment to protecting customer data.
Data Encryption
We use industry-standard encryption practices where applicable.
This includes:
- Encrypted HTTPS communication
- Secure API communication
- Encrypted data transmission between services
Sensitive information is never intentionally transmitted over unsecured connections.
Merchant Data
Merchants remain the owners of their own business data.
Depending on enabled features, Convzr may process:
- Product titles
- Descriptions
- Images
- Categories
- Collections
- Pricing
- Variants
- Product attributes
This information is processed only to deliver AI-powered shopping experiences.
Merchant data is not used to train public AI foundation models.
Shopper Data
Convzr is designed to minimize the collection of personal information.
Most shoppers can interact with Convzr without providing personal details.
Personal information may only be processed when merchants enable features such as:
- WhatsApp marketing
- Virtual Try-On
- Customer engagement workflows
- Support conversations
Only the information necessary to provide these features should be collected.
Responsible AI
Convzr uses artificial intelligence to:
- Answer product questions
- Recommend products
- Guide purchase decisions
- Assist with ecommerce support
- Improve shopping experiences
AI responses are generated using trusted AI providers.
Although we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect.
Merchants are responsible for reviewing business-critical information presented to customers where appropriate.
Third-Party Providers
To provide our services, Convzr currently relies on trusted technology partners including:
- OpenAI
- Supabase
- Vercel
- Google Analytics
- Google Tag Manager
- Microsoft Clarity
Additional providers may be introduced as the platform evolves.
Access Controls
Access to operational systems is restricted to authorized personnel.
We aim to follow the principle of least privilege, providing access only where necessary for operating and improving the service.
Data Retention
Information is retained only for as long as necessary to:
- Operate Convzr
- Support merchants
- Improve the platform
- Meet legal obligations
- Protect the security of the service
Retention periods vary depending on the type of information involved.
Platform Monitoring
We continuously monitor the health and performance of our platform to:
- Improve reliability
- Detect operational issues
- Investigate security events
- Improve customer experience
Monitoring information is used to maintain service quality and platform stability.
Security Improvements
Security is an ongoing process.
As Convzr grows, we plan to strengthen our security posture through additional technical, operational, and compliance measures as appropriate for the platform’s scale and customer needs.
